OMG OMG The show was AMAZING. Im still in awe of it all. everything went perfect and you guys know how I said I wouldnt be able to have any meet and greets because they didnt come with the ticket, well lets just say that I got to go to both of them and I met a certain someone at the cleveland one hehe lol
Ill write a full review here in a couple days. I really just want to give it time to sink in.
So much happened to me this weekend and alot of what happened I cant believe happened lol

hehe i TOLD you!

I think i'm still in shock lol I just cant believe that I actually got to see celtic woman. Well since i'm sure that everyone is looking forward to some type of review I think Ill put in my two cents on this wonderful experience. As many of you might know i'm a BIG Chloe fan and my celtic woman experience kind of got centered on her so im sorry, but a lot of great things happened and I got to meet a bunch wonderful people, and I want to say thank you to everyone for making this experience unforgettable

YOUNGSTOWN:

Well I got picked up by Zo around 1 or 1:30 friday afternoon and we spent the trip getting to know one another and I think that by the end of the weekend we became pretty close. I mean she did act like my mom and all making sure I was behaving my self, and telling me not to walk in the street ect. (sorry zo ). So we drove to youngstown to meet up with a group from the forum and we got there an hour early so we decided to do some shopping, well zo decided to do some shopping I was just the tag along. After we waited the time it took for everyone to get to the pub, we all sat down and had a very nice dinner. (So by this time I can assure you that I was on the count down until the show started lol) I really was having some trouble controlling my excitment. As we made our way to the show we decided to NOT PAY the 10 dollar parking fee and Tom decides to park us about a mile away from the venue which wasn't bad but we felt s little rushed because everyone just wanted to make it in before the show started but we all made it in plenty of time.

SHOW TIME:

Well me and tara (leighlam) find our seats and we soon realize that we had some pretty good seats but we were all kind of close together so we got to know our neighbors pretty well. We were so close together that if someone next to you moved you kind of moved with them. As the show starts and you hear the introduction with chloe's voice my mouth just dropped and this stupid looking grin appears and I cant seem to wipe it away, and then the girls come out and about half way through the opener Chloe looks in my direction and just grins lol. As the show got on the roll I got a lot of interaction from chloe and lisa and sometimes alex and they all gave grins, nods, smiles and winks, so I think it is safe to say that I was sort of in awe because I was wondering if this was going to happen like everyone said it did. NOW the music its self just BLEW ME AWAY I dont know how they did it but Its just a whole new experience when you hear it done live, its so much better.
Well its about half way through the first act and Chloe comes out with her song When You Believe, and all I can say on that matter is WOW, she has gotten so so much better and that high note at the end of the song just sends chills down your spin and up your arms.
There were some new songs added to the mix that I really liked also, such as lynn's and alex's solos and lisa's solo's. I have never really sat down and have given my self a chance to just listen to lynn's and alex's voices, and now that I have I can say that celtic woman made the right choice in putting them in the show. Alex's voice is just beautiful as well as lynn's, and lynns version of dulaman is right up there with meav's performance of it.
Back to the show. Well at the intermission I headed on over to the group because I wanted to see if there were any seats by the group that wasnt taken and lo and behold there were a couple of front row center stage seats, and me and tara grabbed them and we waited for the show to begin again. The funny thing is is that everyone kept asking me if I was alright lol and I wasn't sure if I was or not because like I said before I was in sensation over load from hearing the music done live and getting the attention from chloe and the fact that all the planning that it had taken to get their had actually payed off.
Well the second act started and It didn't take chloe long to realize I had left my original set to get a better one. It was so funny watching all the girls interact with each other, because you could just tell that they were having a wonderful time, and you could also tell that chloe just wanted to let go at times and just start dancing lol, its just to cute.
So the night goes on and i'm still in awe and I cant get my mouth to close and the grin to go away so what ever, the ladies seemed to enjoy the enthusiasm from everyone because they picked the energy up and just went with it, but as sad as it was the show started winding down and at the very end Chloe looks right at me and blows a kiss, and this just did it for me, I basically started crying lol. At the end of the show i'm still trying to calm my self down from it all and zo approaches me and informs me that I am taking her place in that nights meet and greet.

MEET AND GREET TIME:

Well the group of people who had the meet and greet pass start to move out and start heading off to were we are to meet the girls and here I am following along hopping I get my one chance to meet chloe and i'm also trying to figure out what I would say. So we are waiting in a hall and One of the girls in charge says that the two ladies who are at this nights meet and greet will be Lisa and Alex. Well I was sad at first but then I realized that I was getting to meet Lisa and my mood instantly cheered up again. As I reach the table and give Rachel my program to get signed Lisa shakes my hand and looks at me and says "Have I met you before?" and of course I say no and this light just turns on and she says again to me "Oh Chloe was asking about you, and she said to me if you see the girl with the white necklace to tell her that she was such a big inspiration". I'm sure there was more to it but of course I was in shock that Chloe singled me out of everyone there and wanted to tell me that I was the inspiration. I wasn't sure what to say and I think Mel and them were wondering if I was going to faint. hehe. Lisa also asks if I was going to be at the meet and greet tomorrow night at cleveland and I said no because I didn't have the money to pay for a meet and greet because I was using my grad. money to come see the show and Alex over hears and asks me what my plans were going to be after high school and I told her I was going into the military to become a medic and her eyes just opened up REALLY wide and she says wow I commend you on that.
Well the meet and greet was winding down and I kept asking Mel if it would be alright to go up to Rachel and ask she could get chloe to sign my program and mel wasn't to sure about it, but you know I figured this was my last chance to get chloe's signature and I went for it. I approached Rachel and I asked really nicely if she would mind getting chloe to sign my program and she sort of looked at me and said something like if I was going to be at the cleveland concert the next day and since I was she said that she would take it back to go get signed and that I was to pick it up from security the next day before the show started. Well once again I was blown away that this was happening to me AND then the m&g was over.

So me and Zo went ahead and traveled on over to cleveland to get our hotel room and not even 5 min after we get out does the tour bus pull in and everyone starts checking in so zo kind of pulls me away real quick because she knew I saw chloe come out and I gotta tell you that when I saw chloe get off the bus and this was just for a split second before she disappeared again I saw her in these bright pink heels is what it looked like. I understand fashion but I will never understand why women feel the need to wear heels at 2 am lol.

Well this is it for the Youngstown show. I will write about the cleveland experience tomorrow, I want to give it some time sink in, because the cleveland show was even better for me if you can catch my drift but im sure that mel or someone will beat me to it.

PS. I want to say thank you to rachel davis for being so kind to me and for taking my program back with her to get signed by chloe. She didnt have to do that and even though it was a small thing it ment alot to me. So thanks

Alright here is the second half of my amazing experience. Alright well me and zo don't really get to sleep until about 2 or 3am and me being me which was still excited from the youngstown show woke up with out a problem saturday morning around 7:30am. I was up and ready to go and zo told me that mel and rich were downstairs so I headed on down to meet up with them and not 10 min. later a special person walks up to us and talks for a few min. and I get a hint that chloe might be at the meet and greet tonight since we all know that rich has a bunch of cards to give away. Now i'm not sure if it was an actual hint or not but it was mentioned so needless to say I instantly got excited because I realize that hey I might have one final chance to meet chloe in person before I leave for the military. So the day goes by pretty quickly because me, mel, and zo sort of hung out in the lobby and chatted the whole time and lucky for us there was a starbucks right down the street so we had coffee at the ready. Oh and I held a learn how to text class lol which was fun to watch lol I swear older people and new technology is hilarious to watch, but it went well.

Well it gets to be about the time were everyone is getting ready for the concert and for dinner because we were supposed to meet in the lobby of our hotel at 4:00 and then leave on the shuttle to the pub. When we got to the pub we all sat down and started eating out dinner and then joe (JC) shows up with his co worker and they join in on our little party. Well some time while we were eating our dinners rich gets this call and you can see this look of shock clearly on his face, it was priceless. Then rich gets this really nice card that sings and has an old fat guy on the front lol (well done to the person who picked the card out ). Ohh and there was cake, but no one seemed to want to cut the cake lol so we had to get a mom to do it for us . So all In all I think rich had a pretty good birthday and I think he will totally agree with that statement.

SHOW TIME:

alright well It's show time and I still had to get to the venue before the concert started so I could get my signed program back which happened to stay all night with celtic woman. Alright so we get to the concert place which is maybe a quarter of a mile down the street from our hotel so that was nice, and i'm searching all over this place for the security guys and all I see is a bunch of ushers just standing around and none of them seem to know were the security is either so great help they are. Well the doors open and I finally see a security dude and I tell him my story about the other night and how Rachel Davis the tour manager had my program and that she wanted me to pick it up from them before the tour started and all, and the guy tried his best but no luck so I told him that I would be back at intermission to pick it up and he assured me that he would have it by them. Well now its time for me to find were I'm supposed to sit and I soon find out that even though I was second row seat 312 I was basically in the center of the stage and so close to it that I could but my feet up on the stage lean back and enjoy the show lol.

The show starts off with a blast and not to much later I get a hold of a forum member who had an extra meet and greet pass and I ask him if it would be alright if I took the extra one and he handed it right on over, so YES I had a good feeling that I was gonna meet chloe tonight. But the show started and we had the first two rows filled with forum members and that was amazing, because there was no way on gods green earth that we wornt gonna give the lady's our all and vice versa.

Once again i'm totally BLOWN AWAY by the music and how well everyone of the girls are performing it and I got a lot of looks from lisa and a couple of times when she was on my side of the stage she would look at me and smile then wink, of course this brought a smile up and then chloe would look right down at me and give me the chloe look, You know the one that only she does, its hard to explain but you'll know it when you see it and I knew that mel had seen this because she kind of hit my elbow lol.

Well the first half of the show ends and I think ALL of us were so proud of them because we knew that they were feeding off of our energy and hearing chloe hold that long note at the end of When You Believe was even better then the youngstown concert, people started clapping before she was even done.

Well as soon as it was over I got up and headed towards the security guy and like he said he had my program brought out to me and guess what, Chloe didn't just sign it all of the lady's signed it except for lynn. So I got in one night done what takes people months to get done lol.

Well the second half starts and like I said we had the first two rows filled with members from the forum so it really did feel like the girls were performing for us and that was cool.

We got so into it that chloe just went lose and started giving lisa funny faces and she would do what mel calls the chloe dance, ask mel if you want to know because I cant even begin to describe what it looks like. I think its a shimmy of sorts but I don't know. So now its time for Oh America to start and chloe is trying to give her speech and we just keep clapping and she lets out this giggle and then she does a woo and starts clapping with us, its just to cute but she does eventually get through her little speech about how cleveland is so special to them because it was were things first started. So things move on really well, like I said before we gave them our all and they did the same thing for us and at the very end chloe looks right at lisa and sticks her tongue out at her then rushes off and starts to chase the base guitarist which was hilarious because you could tell she was just having WAY TO MUCH FUN lol it must be due to being 20 or something .

MEET AND GREET TIME:

well we all head for the meet and greet and zo and mel are trying to get me to come to the back of the group and this is when I first said yes mom to zo lol (the look on her face when I said that was a true kodak moment). Well they finally come out and announce that CHLOE and Mairead was going to be doing the meet and greet tonight and I go running back towards the group in the back announcing that it was chloe lol, I truly felt like a little kid in a candy store not nowing how to act and of course mel wanted to introduce me to chloe and zo wanted to see my reaction lol I don't know why I would ever have a reaction to something like this worth seeing but they wanted to see it lol.

So I finally get up to chloe and mel introduces me as the girl with the white necklace and chloe looks up at me and grabs my hand and starts talking to me right away and then she gets to the part were she says thank you for being such and inspiration and she gets up and gives me a hug, and from what I hear this doesn't happen a lot so I truly feel unique that chloe felt it was alright to do something like that. Here are some words of wisdom from chloe when I told her what I had to do to get here by using my graduation money to buy my self these two tickets, she said "Its good to buy your self a present every now and then, at least that's what I think". Well I'm still just as happy as I could be and couldn't stop thanking her for such a great performance and then when I said bye chloe and waved she waved back and surprised me by saying "bye ashley".



That's It on my part, but i'm sure you guys will here Mel's side of the story which will probably be better and more into detail but hey this was one big special weekend for me and I wasn't used to everything that happened like mel is lol but I hung in there like a trooper and you guys should be proud of me I didn't faint once lol

I'm glad you had such a great time, and that you had the chance to meet Chloe. I can tell you that Chloe also doesn't forget people, so if you meet her again she may well remember you.

Also, Mel is a lot of fun, isn't she? She and I have been at 7 shows together.

Mel is lots of fun, I couldnt get her to slow down on talking on the way back to were I live lol, but about chloe remembering me, it might be along time before she sees me again

Chloe hadn't seen me for TWO YEARS, and she still remembered me at the Mohegan Sun Signing.

Thats awesome. Im hopping that ill get her in the meet and greet at fort wayne. Iv made it clear that I would be there. Because when I saw her in cleveland I told her that that might be my last show unless if I can get the fort wayne deal all worked out and that if it does work out that ill be at that m&g and I told her that she should be their and she said I dont know we'll see lol. AND I said something about it in her birthday card I gave her lol

Have fun in Ft Wayne Ash (Necklace gal!). You were a treat to hang around in Youngstown & Cleveland.
