In a couple days, I will fly to West Palm Beach in Florida to see the girls perform. I'm 42 and never flown before. I am not afraid to admit that I'm still nervous about flying. I never thought that ANYTHING would make me fly, but the lure of the shows and the people who love them can make you do things you never thought that you'd do. ;)

You've never flown? You've never been to Europe? I promise you, if you do one thing in your life that you'll enjoy, it's a backpacking tour of Europe. Germany, Austria -- these are must-sees. Even Paris, I suppose, cliche that it may be. And of course Ireland, if CW has given you a taste, although I've never been to Ireland myself.

What's more extraordinary is that I seem to recall you saying that your next and last CW show of this tour would be Red Rocks. Couldn't stay away, yes? :)

Don't worry about flying. It's safe and fast. It's too bad that the U.S. lacks a great high-speed rail network, of the kind that exists in Europe, but air travel in the U.S. is the way to go.

Thanks Celeste. And yes, I will be flying to and from West Palm Beach, and also to and from Red Rocks in Colorado. So after no flying for 42 years... 4 flights in two months! LOL
