Last night my PBS (WTTW in Chicago) had their 1st showing of CW:The Greatest Journey. It was for their pledge drive and the two guets were Chloe and Lynn. 1st off was great 2 see both of them in a more casual, relaxed atmosphere. They both talked about the new upcoming tour. Couldn't say much (tease) but did say it would mostly be new. New costumes, sets, and music w/ a few classic numbers. David is busy getting everything ready and when the return to Ireland it'll be straight into rehearsals. A couple Chloe highlights- They did talk about her pretty much growing up with CW. Chloe mentioned how all the girls just watched TGJ and were awwwwing at her saying she was just a baby at first. The concert showed Walking in the Air (from her 1st CW appearance) and then Lil Drummer Boy (from the most recent Christmas concert) for comparison (thought that was a nice touch). Chloe talked about how she grew up on stage singing, dancing, and even some pantomime. Sorry, I don't have stills to post, but I can say that Chloe looked as "wow" as usual. Her hair was staight and looked longer compared to recent photoshoots (so maybe growing it out again). Looked very "New Journey). She and Lynn went around when not talking to the PBS worker and talked to people who had called in to pledge. Chloe loves talking to people; could see the joy in her face. Was really funny- the pledge person would be talking and they kept cutting to Chloe on the phone. Could tell she was having a ball and didn't want to get off. Talked about the fun they have on stage and how they love when the audience gets into it. At the end when they were saying their goodbyes, Chloe gave a big wave and thanked everyone for "ringing in". Can really tell what loving. giving people our girls are. They spent a lot of time talking to people. If your PBS hasn't shown it yet, I would reccommend tuning in just for lil fun bits. Celtic Woman.com has a list of PBS and who will be the guest. Check it out: http://www.celticwoman.com/trellis/pbs_appearances/ -Glen

That's wonderful to hear! I always adored Chloe with longer hair. "New Journey" represented the very peak of her beauty -- longer hair, and a fairer complexion. I hope she returns to that look.

You didn't record this by any chance, did you? Sadly, none of the girls are appearing at the two PBS stations that I pull in -- WNED Buffalo, and whatever the Detroit PBS station is.

Thanks Glen :) I wish that you did get some screencaps though... not just of Chloe, but also of Lynn, who I have very few pics of....

He he, Celeste. I was thinking of you when I wrote my recap (so I made sure to comment on her hair. I prob. should have mentioned that they were wearing black dresses as well. Chloe's was kinda see- through on the sleeves. Simple and classy). Taped it? Well, they just had another pledge drive/showing of TGJ and actually replayed the same "breaks" with Chloe and Lynn. So, yes I was able to record it. I tried getting some screen shots, but let me say a disclaimer first. I don't have cable; am using an antenna (so a bit grainy/poorer reception). Also, could only capture any by using my lil webcam to film the T.V. (which made it even worse). So I'm just posting these so you can see (sorry they're not good enough for your awesome banner making Scott). Is enjoyable to watch. (Still love Chloe on the phone, so cute!)

Oh, thank you so much for posting these captures, even at this quality. How I wish someone would YouTube all of these priceless pledge-break moments! If only I pulled in any of these stations, I would do it. Regrettably, The Detroit broadcast didn't have any of the girls on it, and I doubt tomorrow's Buffalo airing will either.

Thank makes it all the more thankful that you obtained these shots. Chloe looks SO lovely in this picture especially:

Thank you for commenting on the hair and the style of the dress. Chloe looks so beautiful in that outfit. (I can almost see the sheer sleeves :) ) On Chloe, sleeveless dresses are ideal, but sheer sleeves are the next-best thing. She's such a terrific fashion icon for curvy girls.

It seems impossible, but she becomes more attractive every time she's on TV.
