Hi Eveyone, Glenn, A.K.A. The Rotten Rebel here.
Just got a message, reminding me that I have'nt been active on site lately, and saw these photos here.
For me, the so few days I was there at Wilkes Barr, PA. This entire trip, from the 9th March, to the 13th.
Was the most wonderful time that I have ever spent with people I had up to then, never met before. I concider every single one of them, to be as family. I do mean that.
To say that these few days, and this night that we had at this Meet & Greet was magic, is such an understatement. I will never be able to thank Rachel D., Mairead, Chloe, Scott Manke, Capt. Dave, Scott Meenan, Tony (Alcan 1), and everyone else that was there, sharing in this extrordinary experience enough.
4 days, practically without sleep, every minute, from start to finish, I consider a priceless memory.
There were so many tears shed that magic night. Tears of graditude, tears of joy, and tears of sadness at the end. I miss everyone so much.
I got had the honor of giving Miaread a porcelain rose, and dear Chloe, I had the honor of giving an amethyst pendant & matching earrings. That color looks smashing on her, I must say. Those beautiful eyes, of hers, make a guy want to melt. ... sigh.
I would have posted pictures, but the ones already posted, are the best of the bunch. The ones I have are so similar.
The places I went to, during those so few days, 5 states in one day, paying my respects to those we lost at Ground Zero, seeing Carnegie Hall, the Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge, The Statue Of Libery, Time Square, WOW!
And with in all of this... Meeting such wonderful people. People I will always think of now, as part of my family.
These are the days people, savor the moment. Truly, they are... The stuff of life.
And to all of them. Thank you, for being a part of such a time.
Sincerely & respectfully yours,
Glenn, A.K.A. The Rotten Rebel
