I just read the most interesting thing -- the Baltimore M&G had all five ladies in the Meet & Greet. How wonderful! But I immediately thought, "Goodness, why not do this every time?" In Detroit, which is the only M&G I've ever attended, the line-up wasn't that long, and it moved quite quickly. I was half-way down the line, and it only took a few minutes before I went through. I wish they'd have an all-member M&G every time. I know that there's a thrill in the "lottery" idea, but some people may not have the resources to keep trying. Just think -- KAJ wouldn't have had to wait three years to meet Chloe. I'm delighted that they did this for Baltimore. It would be wonderful if they adopted the idea for every show.

it would be a wonder to see all them at one time, because not all of us do have the means to go see them alot. i fear ill be one of those fans who have to wait three years to just go see them let alone meet chloe. but its great because i just got my parents hocked to their music, so maybe by faith ill be able to go one of the concerts.

Ok, here is some information, then a minor rant.
The M&G procedure is controlled by the local PBS affiliate. They are the ones who administrate it. Usually, the more passes that they give out, the more chance that there will be 5 girls. Baltimore was probably an exception due to it being St. Patrick's Day. The M&G at Wallingford, back in 2007, had all 5 girls partly because the PBS affiliate had sold more than 200 M&G passes, but also because our Forum group attending had the then-CWF Administrator Danielle, 2 major Meav fans, a major Lisa fan, a Hayley Forum mod, and 2 huge Chloe fans (Michael and myself). But in the main, the M&G situation is under the thumb of the PBS station, and it is up to them to arrange things. Notice that the CD signings (which are NOT in any way involving PBS) have 3 or 5 of the girls. The signing at Mohegan Sun less than 2 weeks ago had all 5 girls, which was awesome. Signings are usually a better way to go, with more of the girls to see, and they are a lot cheaper. The problem is that signings almost never have sufficient adventisement.
That being said, there is really no excuse for having only some of the performers on hand for the M&G situations. I have been told that many Irish performances have all of the leads on hand for M&Gs. To demand all 5 is rather a stretch... but what I'd like is to have 3 girls for each M&G... and have 2 stage members (choir and musicians), and 1 of the production people, on hand also, on a rotating basis. Some fans really like Ray, or Des, or Helen; this would give them a chance to talk to other, somewhat less noticeable people who have an integral role in the show. There are plenty of things I would like to talk to some of them about.

That's very interesting information, Scott. Thank you.
Perhaps there is a good reason why the M&Gs need to be limited to two or three girls. I can understand that. But if that's the case, then there is still a way that they could be organized so that one avoids the "lottery" situation. And that is: announce the singers who will be appearing at the specific M&Gs in advance.
Let's say, hypothetically, that there is a child who idolizes Chloe, and longs to meet Chloe, but the child's family lacks the financial resources to pay for multiple M&Gs. And let's say that Celtic Woman is appearing at two or three shows in a given state. If that family knows in advance at which show Chloe will be appearing, then they can invest in the M&G for that particular show, and their daughter can have her wish fulfilled.
Just a thought.
(BTW, stunning banner as always, Scott. I like how it looks like the second in a series, the first of which was the pink banner that you recently created, which had a similar texture.)

Thanks Actually that kinda was my idea, to eventually have a small series of Chloe banners all slightly inter-related. The two images that I used are my two favorite new Chloe pictures.
